Forward Depot Services TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) supports the installation and maintenance of satellite and wireless communications equipment globally in all environments. TCS has a worldwide presence with Support Engineers positioned domestically and overseas in Europe, Asia, Southwest Asia, and Africa. TCS offers a broad range of field services from pre-installation site surveys to post-installation support. TCS is highly experienced at deploying a wide variety of communications equipment, including satellite terminals that operate in rugged environments and under severe weather conditions. TCS is well-versed in the detailed planning and risk management considerations required to deliver the field services support in these locations. Depot Services In international hotspots, rapid response is of the essence when supporting critical communications equipment. TCS therefore provides forward-deployed repair facilities, testing, and seamless logistics support. TCS support engineers have a worldwide presence and are supported by the required operating facilities and a large logistics tail. TCS site survey, installation, and inventory management capabilities using OCONUS depots and international shipping expertise allow for expedited system integration, set-up and configuration. On-call and dedicated support enables cost-efficient deployment of communications equipment in-theater. In addition, TCS has the knowledge to leverage existing air and ground transportation infrastructure to move support engineers and equipment in the region. TCS stations one logistician within each of its deployed field service support units. These TCS logisticians facilitate the movement of parts and personnel in-theater, manage inventory control and equipment issues, help clear customs in-theater, and arrange for return shipping to the US. Track Record of Performance TCS currently provides on-site and remote field support to the USMC and the U.S. Army at varying technical levels, from Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and network architecture design and support, to systems engineers.
