Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1)

Leaders in public safety are upgrading to NG9-1-1

To meet their jurisdiction's needs, many 9-1-1 authorities are implementing new technologies, increasing information sharing to downstream agencies and improving the survivability of the 9-1-1 system. Some of the first technologies being deployed in this NG9-1-1 environment are text messaging, additional types of data, and photos in real-time. Information sharing is easier and more affordable over an IP network. And, with geo-redundant data centers in the ESInet, the NG9-1-1 system will survive most disasters.
