The TCS Impact Tactical IP Terminal is the smallest ruggedized communications kit currently in the TCS family of products. The Impact Tactical design enables rapid configuration and wide deployment options across fixed and mobile platforms. The modular approach allows for ultra-lean network operations using stand-alone modules and the scalability to easily grow and support larger operations by configuring a full system. The system drives significant Size Weight and Power (SWaP) reductions while providing equal or greater capabilities when compared to existing network solutions. Impact Tactical system leverages the latest high-power router from Cisco (5915 ESR), expandable PoE switching and a single-board computer based server module capable of running the latest in virtualization technology.
