The Impact Executive is the smallest executive communications kit currently available in the TCS Impact family of products. The Executive routing capability is powered by the latest offering in Cisco’s line of small, environmentally hardened routers: the 5915 embedded service router (ESR). The Executive also possesses local computing capability via the integrated Core 2 Duo based single board computer (SBC). The SBC is running a Virtual Machine (VM) server that allows for extreme flexibility and adaptability. The Executive can run several industry leading acceleration software packages, allowing the Executive to be tailored to the environment and gateway it connects into.
