Cyber Security Training
The Art of Exploitation The Art of Exploitation curriculum provides a comprehensive solution to computer network operations (CNO) training in the fields of computer penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability analysis, and exploitation. The Art of Exploitation curriculum has expanded to include cyber security and cyber analysis course study. Visit the Art of Exploitation Website The first offering in this series is the flagship course “Art of Exploitation Bootcamp Edition.” Modular in design and comprehensive in scope, the Bootcamp Edition is a nine day, intense course of study with over 40 labs that provides an introduction to the basic tactics, techniques, and methodology required for a Network Exploitation Analyst or Operator. In addition to the nine day basic course, the modular design allows individual sections to be added, subtracted, or taught separately depending on the requirements of the audience. In continuing our successful effort of providing the best training solution in the area of CNO and in the field of Network Analysis, TCS' Cyber Intelligence Group (CIG) (formerly Solvern Innovations) has developed the “Art of Exploitation Wiretap Edition” curriculum. CIG follows a methodology for performing network analysis that begins with deploying a sensor and progresses to generating reports. CIG relies heavily on a hands-on practical application to both reinforce the material discussed and evaluate the competency the student has gained from the discussions. Every technique or process discussed in this course has an associated lab where students will apply what they have learned. The latest offering in the Art of Exploitation series, “Art of Exploitation Wireless Edition” is designed to provide the Computer Security Practitioner with the skills and knowledge required to perform wireless security assessments, and wireless exploitation. The tactics, techniques, and procedures are designed to provide real-life examples of how security is compromised and data is extracted in today’s wireless environment. By focusing primarily on the discovery and exploitation of Wireless Networks, “Art of Exploitation Wireless Edition,” provides a unique training experience not found in other commercial wireless security courses. “Art of Exploitation Wireless Edition is a five-day, intense course of study that provides a comprehensive view into the methods and mindset used by hackers to compromise wireless networks. Like all Art of Exploitation courses, the class provides numerous hands-on experiences during labs. Cyber Attack/Defend Edition is a four-day practical application exercise, that employs techniques learned in previous editions of Art of Exploitation training. Students will be placed onto either a red “offensive” team or a blue “defensive” team, and given objectives to fulfill based on their mission. Multiple scenarios will allow customization of the course to the specific objectives of a given customer. Available scenarios include CNE, CNA, and CND objectives, allowing the student to operate in the field of their specific mission and expertise. By the end of the course, students will have been given the opportunity to work as a team in these various CNO situations, employing CNO tools and techniques, learned previously in Art of Exploitation training or real-world on-the-job training, and will be prepared to perform at a high level in various CNO organizations. Developer’s Edition is a course of study focused on software development for cyber operations. Topics include reverse engineering of software applications and development of utilities used in various cyber activities. This course is designed for knowledgeable computer programmers. Advanced Edition
A complex study focusing on creative thinking in exploitation Advanced Edition builds on the topics and techniques learned in the Boot Camp and covers more complex topics and scenarios. Students will learn to be creative in the course of their cyber duties, expanding their knowledge by incorporating tactics such as cross-site scripting, protocol tunneling, and on-the-fly exploit creation and adjustment. Manager’s Edition – Brochure
A non-technical course designed for the manager The newest offering in the Art of Exploitation series, “Manager’s Edition,” is a two-day non-technical course designed to teach managers of information operations how to better understand their mission area and the technical people assigned operational tasks. This course focuses primarily on exploitation mission areas and the standard methodology for those operations. One does not have to be technically elite in order to understand or manage these areas. However, a basic understanding of the tactics, techniques, and procedures your operators employ is essential for resource allocation and communication throughout the organization.
