MELVILLE, N.Y., Mar 22, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., won a $1.0 million order for satellite communications equipment. A government agency will utilize the equipment to support their satellite-based communications network requirements.
The order includes the CSAT-5060 C-Band Transceivers and the CLNA C-Band Low Noise Amplifiers. The CSAT-5060 C-Band Transceivers feature superior phase noise performance and long-term reliability. Packaged in a single unit chassis, the units allow quick and easy installation. The CLNA C-Band Low Noise Amplifiers are compact and rugged, making them ideal for transportable applications and severe environments.
