(Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., obtained a $2.4 million order for satellite communications equipment. The equipment will be utilized by a major telecommunications operator in Southeast Asia to support satellite-based voice and data trunking applications.
The order encompasses an assortment of Comtech EF Data products, including the CDM-700 High Speed Satellite Modem, the CDM-600/L Satellite Modems, the CDM-570/L Satellite Modems, redundancy switches, frequency converters and transceivers. The satellite modems are based on technologically advanced components and provide unprecedented feature sets for optimizing satellite communications.
