Comtech Chosen by Clear Channel Communications to Provide Satellite Antenna Systems Melville, New York - October 26, 1999 - Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) Comtech Antenna Systems, Inc., a Florida-based subsidiary of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq: CMTL) , today announced that it has been selected to supply satellite antenna systems to NSN Network Services, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications (NYSE: CCU).

A contract valued at approximately $500,000 calls for Comtech to deliver its 3.8-meter antenna system for use at hundreds of radio stations owned and operated by Clear Channel Communications throughout the United States. This will be part of an extensive digital upgrade to give Clear Channel the latest digital broadcast technology for the satellite transmission of signals to its stations.

FNSN Network Services, a leading satellite systems integrator, will handle distribution, sales and technical support.red Kornberg, president and chief executive officer of Comtech Telecommunications, said the company's 3.8-meter antenna system was selected because of its outstanding performance in the broadcast digital satellite environment.
